Shopify's own platform fee (from about NZ$56/mo) is billed by Shopify directly. Our fee covers the build, product loading, support and reporting: $2,500 once and then $50/mo, or $250/mo with nothing upfront. Pay monthly with nothing upfront, or $2,500 once.
Yes. Rural delivery is a real cost, and a flat national rate posted from Wellington either loses money on the far end or loses the sale up front. We set rates by weight or by zone against what your courier actually charges, add a rural surcharge, and place a free shipping threshold that lifts your average order value instead of eating it.
No. We are Wellington based and we build for merchants right across New Zealand, from the Kāpiti Coast and the Wairarapa to Auckland and the South Island. Most of the work happens over video and a shared Shopify collaborator account. The only part that needs us in the room is the free photoshoot, which we arrange around you.
